RT Intra-Treatment Position Verification
 
Treating tumors means targeting areas that are subject to motion and changes in position and size. ExacTrac® Snap Verification uses x-ray images, acquired during treatment delivery or between fields, to instantly detect and visualize internal tumor displacement and patient movement. Instant verification and correction at any position

ExacTrac Snap Verification uses x-ray images acquired during treatment delivery for intra-fraction verification of the tumor position. A threshold-based margin analysis algorithm indicates whether patient setup correction is needed. ExacTrac automatic couch control can then be used to remotely realign the patient.

Patient comfort with Frameless Radiosurgery

Frameless Stereotactic Radiosurgery 
ExacTrac® Frameless Radiosurgery replaces frame-based treatments, offering highly accurate delivery of single fraction treatments for improved patient comfort. ExacTrac uses stereoscopic x-ray imaging combined with the Brainlab stereotactic immobilization system and a three-piece, non-invasive mask to provide sub-millimetric precision.

ExacTrac® Robotic Patient Alignment

Robotic Couch Capabilities for improved
setup accuracy
The ExacTrac® Robotic Patient Alignment allows the highest precision patient set-up in six degrees of freedom. Mounted on top of the treatment couch, the Robotic Patient Alignment system is fully integrated and operated by the ExacTrac system to correct setup errors.

  • Allows for automatic correction of rotational misalignments
  • Provides greatest level of setup accuracy
  • Particularly suitable for complex setups such as cranial,  head & neck, or spine indications
