What will you be doing?

In the cross-divisional Integrated OR (operating room) team with more than 80 people we develop, plan and install Brainsuite: some of the most innovative live operating rooms in the world. Brainsuite connects image-guided surgery with intra-operative imaging - such as magnetic resonance or computer tomography - and integrates the best third-party products to ensure smooth clinical workflows and to provide enriched medical data to the surgeon.

To enhance our capabilities in the Brainlab Global Product Support team we are seeking a Product Support Specialist (PSS) iOR. As global 3rd level support for the integrated OR products the PSS is responsible for providing effective knowledge transfer from R&D into the support organization while coordinating product design input and helping to improve the clinical outcome for our customers. The individual plays a vital role in the development, installation and support of Brainsuite and advances service documentation. As the interface between Support, R&D and Product Management you will represent a key factor in ensuring successful product releases.

What do you need?

The ideal candidate has

  • a technical university degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
  • advanced knowledge of IT networks and interface handling (e.g. DICOM)
  • experience in the installation and support of electrical devices in a medical environment
  • solid soft- and hardware skills including troubleshooting
  • competence in image post-processing, video and audio routing
  • basic knowledge in medical imaging
  • profound English skills
  • workflow knowledge of radiology diagnostics and PACS/RIS are a plus
