What will you be doing?

As a content developer you are part of the Brainlab Corporate Marketing Team. You are responsible for developing and maintaining the written content of the global Brainlab website, the Brainlab Intranet, and other internal and external Brainlab communications tools such as the corporate newsletter, working with Product Marketing and our US-based Marketing Communications team to ensure a cohesive brand. 

  • Identify relevant content for internal (newsletter, intranet) and external (website, social media, press releases) communication having a keen sense of journalism
  • Coordinate and drive the entire project from idea generation to final output
  • Structure, develop, and maintain high quality content for the Brainlab website and the Brainlab Intranet, working closely with product marketing teams and marketing communications
  • Liaise, consult and collaborate with product marketing and marketing communications
  • Develop all content in strict compliance with brand standards including tone and voice for all internal and external communication, working closely with the Brainlab Chicago-based Marketing Communications Team
  • Select, brief and manage external agencies (PR) for non-US efforts
  • Raise the awareness and understanding of internal communications, public relations, and e-marketing for the Healthcare business with internal and external audiences
  • Keep on top of important corporate events, act proactively to stay updated on the latest trends in
    e-marketing, digital strategies, and related issues, and foster positive team interaction between offices
  • Maintain a positive attitude, self direct and self motivate, generate fresh ideas

What do you need?

  • 2-3 years tactical experience as a content developer, copywriter, or journalist
  • Native English speaking; proficiency in written and verbal German a plus
  • Keen and up on current events/news/trends/pop culture/social media/conversations and how they relate to medical technology and how they can be woven into the Brainlab broader communication strategy
  • Creative, dynamic and forward thinking
  • Project management and orchestration skills
  • Basic conversation skills with product and general management (senior positions)
