What will you be doing?
To enhance our capabilities in the Brainlab Global Product Support team we are seeking a Product Support Specialist (PSS) Platforms. As global 3rd level support of all Brainlab platforms the PSS is responsible for providing effective knowledge transfer from R&D into the support organization while coordinating product design input and helping to improve the clinical outcome for our customers. The individual plays a vital role in the development, support and documentation for Brainlab platforms. As the interface between Support, R&D and Product Management you will represent a key factor in ensuring successful product releases.
Brainlab’s industry leading Software is housed on our innovative Platforms. The systems vary from handheld devices, dedicated workstations to industry standard multi-processor planning stations. Focusing on the interaction between the Platform hardware functionality and the clinical Software of our medical devices allows the PSS to directly affect standard of care for patient treatment.
What do you need?
The ideal candidate has:
- a technical university degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
- experience in the installation and support of electrical devices in a medical environment
- extensive skills in software and hardware troubleshooting
- basic knowledge of IT networks
- good English skills, excellent documentation habits
- detail oriented, self-starter who can progress independently
- proven track record of goal accomplishment
