Senior C++ Software Developer - Cranial Navigation

As an experienced Software Developer for our Cranial Navigation team, you will make an impact  on the worlds leading medical applications for cranial surgery! You will be part of an international  multidisciplinary highly skilled team which takes the responsibility for a wide range of software applications and clinical procedures like cranial tumor resection, CMF, ENT, Microscope and Ultrasound navigation, based on either optical or electromagnetic tracking.

In this position your main responsibilities will be to

  • develop complex medical software applications in C++ which make an impact in thousands of Operation Rooms around the world
  • define and continuously improve the software architecture, depending on your level of experience
  • bring in your view and expertise by actively developing technical concepts
  • be a Full-Stack developer (from framework, backend all the way up to frontend)
  • be part and consultant during requirements engineering
  • mentor Software Engineers
  • write Unit Tests to support your implemented features
  • come in contact, interface, and program with other technologies such as C#, JavaScript & TypeScript and React


  • passion for developing software
  • minimum of 5 years experience in developing software with C++
  • degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent working experience
  • knowledge in other programming languages like C#, JavaScript is preferred
  • deeply analytical mindset and creativity to develop extraordinary solutions
  • well-organized and clearly structured, agile working style
  • very good communication skills in English
