Registration, Evaluation, Authorization & Restriction of Chemicals (REACH)

Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restrictions of Chemicals aims to improve the protection of human health and the environment from risks that can be posed by chemicals.

The identification of a substance as a Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) and its inclusion in the candidate list for REACH creates certain legal obligations for the importers, producers and suppliers of an article that contains such a substance. Brainlab requests that suppliers inform us whether and to what extent substances from the list are used in their products. The information is updated regularly. In addition, Brainlab complies with the restrictions stated in Annex XVII of REACH.

If a REACH – SVHC in a concentration of >0.1% w/w per article has been reported to Brainlab, we’ve outlined the details, in accordance with REACH, Article 33, in the list below.

The data is accurate to the best of our knowledge, yet we depend upon supplier collaboration for data completeness.

Please note: A concentration of >0.1% w/w in an article presents no hazard to humans or the environment under normal handling and use of the Brainlab product wherein the article is contained. If your product is not listed in the table below, it does not contain reportable SVHC as defined in Article 33 (1) & (2) “Substances of Very High Concern” EC Title VII, Chapter 1 Article 57 and periodically revised.
