Front Office Manager
Meet Leonie, our Front Office Manager who has been a vital part of keeping things running smoothly at Brainlab headquarters since 2012. Learn more about what motivates Leonie and how putting a smile on the faces of customers and colleagues is one of her greatest skills.
When did you start working at Brainlab?
I’ve been working for Brainlab since August 2012.
Where can we find you at Brainlab?
Directly inside the entrance of Brainlab headquarters! The reception desk staff are the first faces our customers and colleagues see when they walk in the front door.
What do you usually do when you arrive at the office?
I say hello to security and find out if everything was fine overnight. Then I check the demo area to see if our systems are working and then I enjoy my morning coffee in the small kitchen. I like to start work early—between 7:00 and 7:30am—so that I have enough time to get everything ready before the reception desk officially opens at 8:00am.
What is the best part of your position?
Helping our colleagues and customers and receiving everyone’s gratitude for doing so.
How would you describe a regular day as a Receptionist at Brainlab?
We don’t have regular days! Usually there is always something interesting going on and we have to be very good at multitasking. I love that I can bring a little smile to my colleagues’ faces when I can work my receptionist magic!
Which was your favorite project/task?
My favorite project so far has been the optimization of the reception processes in terms of timelines and the way we do things. Now, I am proud to say that reception is willing (and usually able!) to help everybody at Brainlab at any time with anything.
Which divisions are you in contact with on a regular basis?
We support all divisions. The main divisions we work with are: support, sales, general management and accounting.
