(Advanced) Electronics Engineer - Robotics

For our growing R&D Robotics division we are looking for a new Electronics Engineer. You will be part of an energetic team developing parts and tools for robotic surgical procedures. Your contribution has an impact on daily work in hospitals around the world.

Your tasks include:

  • design complete systems (power concept, cabling design, control units and interfaces)
  • define electrical/electronic requirements for the complete system
  • selection of components, prototyping and testing
  • ensure that design complies with applicable standards (industrial and medical)
  • support the identification and mitigation of risks
  • plan, define and perform design verification activities
  • support external certification activities
  • improve and automate development tools


  • education in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or related discipline
  • first working experience in electronics development
  • knowledge about analogue and digital circuit technology
  • basic knowledge of git, gitlab and ECAD tools (e.g. KiCAD/Eagle/Altium)
  • experience in handling measuring instruments in the field of electronics development
  • enthusiasm for technology and a creative mind
  • ability and commitment for problem solving
  • excellent written and oral communication skills in English, German is a plus
  • good communication skills as well as a well-organized and clearly structured working style
