Brainlab systems are sold to customers in over 100 countries worldwide. Thus, the localization of Brainlab software is crucial for our business. As Junior Project Manager (Software) Localization you will be responsible for the coordination of software localization projects. You will be part of the Localization team, which mainly provides localization of Brainlab user documentation, the corporate website and software applications from English into up to 27 languages. You will focus on the following tasks:

  • Coordinate localization projects with a strong focus on software localization
  • Follow our software localization and verification process in cooperation with our R&D teams, our localization services provider and our internal proofreaders
  • Ensure quality assurance and control costs while meeting required deadlines
  • Administer and maintain all localization project files and reference material (SDL Passolo)


  • Degree in translation/localization studies or related field of study
  • Working knowledge of software localization tools (SDL Passolo) and processes
  • Working knowledge of translation memory systems
  • Affinity for IT and technology
  • Good written and spoken English skills, further languages are a plus
  • A team-player who is excited to be part of an international team
  • Talented in managing multiple tasks in parallel
