Product Manager - Radiation Oncology

We are looking for a Product Manager for our Radiation Oncology Marketing team. In this role, you will develop and articulate our market segment and product strategies to further revolutionize cancer treatments. Integrated within a team of product managers, you will be responsible for global business results of defined components in our RT Planning Elements portfolio. You will closely work with R&D and also our international Sales Teams. This position is located at our Brainlab HQ in Munich.

Responsibilities / Tasks:

  • Identify market and technology trends, opportunities relevant for assigned products
  • Analyze competitor activities, customer feedback, utilization of own product and develop action plan with global scope
  • Close collaboration with R&D and internal stakeholders in product definition, product release lifecycle phases
  • Develop product briefing including target groups, positioning, features, benefits, and unique selling propositions – to be substantiated with clinical evidence (supported by Clinical Marketing)
  • Define global roll-out strategy and manage implementation of product launches
  • Develop supportive marketing collateral like product presentations, video material, website appearance in close cooperation with our Marketing Campaigns team
  • Develop and deliver training for sales force, regional marketing and distributors
  • Support marketing activities at tradeshows and on-site customer visits, physical and virtual inhouse visits at HQ Munich with technical product demos and in-depth discussions with customers
  • Establish relationships with key opinion leaders and customers


  • University degree either in business administration or engineering/natural science/physics
  • Professional experience, preferably in medical or high-tech industries, ideally in the radiotherapy domain
  • An analytical, decisive, and committed personality with an outgoing nature and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation and communications skills together with solid project management and stakeholder management ability
  • Passion for technical products and technological advancements
  • Business fluency in written and spoken English
  • A willingness to travel 10 - 15% of the time
