Job Description

Our Intra-operative Imaging/Ultrasound department is looking for a (Senior) Project Manager to join our R&D team in Munich, Germany.

Our mission is to leverage modern ultrasound technologies for developing new clinical solutions using intra-operative imaging, thereby making clinical procedures safer and improving procedural outcomes.

Your main responsibilities will be to

  • manage R&D projects covering the complete product development cycle of medical devices, from the conceptualization up to the (clinical) evaluation and market release of the product
  • apply and establish best practices, including management of budget, timelines, project risks
  • steer the project team and structure their work
  • interact closely with a broad range of corporate functions (e.g. product management, QM and regulatory, purchasing), clinical end-users for defining product requirements as well as development partners and suppliers
  • Coordinate, define and execute verification and validation activities
  • Supervise the technical documentation according to our QMS
  • drive the team towards creating clinical solutions which will make medical procedures more safe, more predictable and benefit patients in hospitals around the world

Qualifications

  • BSc / MSc degree in (medical) engineering or similar background, and >3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Ability to lead, manage and motivate cross-functional project teams
  • Excellent communications skills in English
  • Experience with ISO 13485 standards and regulatory requirements
  • Relevant experience / clinical knowledge in medical imaging (such as ultrasound) is a strong plus
  • Well-organized, proactive and clearly structured working style
