Job Description

At Brainlab, our R&D teams are developing innovative software solutions which are making medical technology and knowledge more impactful and accessible to physicians and their patients. We are looking for a pragmatic and enthusiastic Software Delivery Experience Engineer for our RT Planning software development. You will be working closely together with the development teams to optimize software deployment, facilitate software testing and automate development processes.

As a Software Delivery Experience Engineer in the RT Planning team at Brainlab, your responsibilities will be to

  • design, implement, manage and test continuous integration, build management and deployment scripts and systems in close collaboration with the development team
  • provide solutions for automatic software testing
  • drive automation as a concept for lean quality delivery within the team, actively delivering ways to integrate toolsets and automate repetitive tasks
  • provide documentation for e.g. tools, software installation and testing

Qualifications

 

  • Successfully completed technical university degree or 3+ years relevant work experience
  • CI/CD and other automation experience
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g. Ansible)
  • Programming skills (Python) and familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Familiarity with cloud native technologies such as Kubernetes, Google Cloud, and Docker
  • Experience with GUI test automation (e.g. Cypress)
  • Experience with cloud deployments
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices including secrets management and vulnerability remediation
  • You are proactive and tackle challenges head-on, and know when it isn’t your problem to solve, in order to ensure the team’s and ultimately the product’s success.
  • You enjoy working with other people in an collaborative environment
  • Desire to drive forward automation and improve software delivery processes in all stages of the development cycle
  • Experience in the radiotherapy field is a plus
