Job Description
Jan Medical is a US based division of the Brainlab family, and part of its R&D team is situated in the Brainlab headquarters in Munich. We are using non-invasive brain accelerometry to measure a completely new biological signal to improve the diagnosis of brain anomalies such as stroke. Our aim is to profoundly impact patient care by saving time in diagnoses and paving the way for better patient outcomes.
As part of our research and development team you:
- Will perform experiments using our test stand
- Will be responsible for creating test plans and reports
- Will evaluate experiments
- Will optimize our test stand for current needs
- Will visualize results and present them to the team
- Will be working with R&D and clinical colleagues
Qualifications
- Enrolled student in a Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering, Medical or Biological Technology, or comparable
- Experience with Electrical Engineering
- Experience with Python and preferably Python libraries like NumPy, pandas, SciPy, matplotlib, seaborn
- While not required, experiences with LabView and GitHub are helpful
- Located in or near Munich
- Available for at least six months
- Good team and communication skills
- Conscientious, well-organized, and independent working style
- Particularly good knowledge of English and preferably German (speaking and writing)
