Job Description
As a Learning Experience Designer at Brainlab, you will play a key role in shaping impactful digital learning experiences for both our customers and employees. You will lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality training content that supports knowledge acquisition and product understanding. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that all learning materials are engaging, effective, and aligned with Brainlab and industrial standards.
- Independently design and develop digital training materials and learning experiences
- Ensure all learning content is well-structured, consistent, and aligned with instructional design principles
- Conduct training needs analyses to define learning objectives and guide content development
- Coordinate and lead content-gathering sessions with subject matter experts
- Apply adult learning theory to create engaging and effective learning experiences
- Collaborate with R&D, usability, support, marketing, and product management teams to ensure content consistency and alignment with business goals
- Use authoring tools such as Articulate 360 to create interactive courses, and media production tools like Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, or Camtasia to develop engaging visual assets
- Manage small to medium-scale learning projects from initiation to completion
- Support implementation tasks for large-scale training initiatives
- Ensure learning platforms and materials are up-to-date, user-friendly, and accessible
- Lead initiatives to enhance the learning experience, including developing learner personas, learning journeys, and blended learning ecosystems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, media production, technical writing, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design or a related educational role
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory and online course design principles
- Proven ability to develop both individual courses and comprehensive learning programs
- Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and visual design tools like Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects)
- Familiarity with learning management systems, especially Docebo LMS or similar platforms
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
- Excellent English written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
- Passionate about education and technology, with interest in the potential of AI in learning
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-quality environments with the ability to adapt quickly
- Collaborative, proactive, and thoughtful team player
