Job Description

A RadOnc Project Manager Support strives for ensuring that all radiotherapy customer site projects for the EMEA region run smoothly. This can be achieved by working closely with colleagues from Sales, Service & Support, Sales Operations, Order Coordination, Export and many other internal and external contacts to complete projects successfully. To support us in this mission, we are seeking a motivated, team player and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Project Manager Support.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Managing small to medium-scale projects from project start and project pre-phase through project closing
  • Supervise bunker construction on site, pre-plan installation process and coordinate 3rd party companies required for system installation
  • Create site-specific and customized AutoCAD drawing sets as well as Microsoft Visio
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within the budget, while satisfying agreed requirements and specifications within the scope of the project
  • Managing the production of project estimates, develop project plans and schedule, establish measures and milestones, track ongoing progress, proactively managing risks and issues, scope through the project life-cycle, report project status on a regular basis, addresses project road blocks, when they arise to e.g. Steering Committee
  • Applying formal company-approved project management methodology (Brainlab Project Management – BPM) to accomplish the goals of the project (whenever being relevant for the project).
  • Providing mentoring and training to internal and external partners (e.g., rigging companies).
  • Coordinating work with other project teams, including Brainlab global community of Project Managers Support RadOnc
  • Coordinate the assigned project team members using Salesforce.com, including onsite and remote specialists as well as application trainers/consultants, in order to ensure timely activity, integrate and use time and resources efficiently to meet the project requirements and create great customer experience
  • Ensuring project work is compliant with regulations of ISO 13485, 93/42/EEC, FDA 21 CFR 820, 510 (k) submission guidelines, Health Canada, Shonin (if applicable)

Qualifications

  • Team player mid-set, a good mood, eagerness to learn and to share knowledge, ideas and experiences
  • Good understanding of the Brainlab RadOnc products. A first-hand experience in the radiotherapy field is a plus
  • Experience in dealing with end-to-end customer projects is a big plus
  • Ability to deal with the challenges which accompany the site project such as pre-sale, system installation or upgrade along the customer installation journey
  • Solution-oriented approach to your daily work, with good planning and management skills. An IT knowledge is a big plus
  • An interest to work on both short- and long-term projects and be able to perform well under the pressure of tight deadlines
  • Be capable of keeping project management and administration up to date, have good communication skills, and be able to provide consultation on IT and hardware site solutions
  • Ability to provide quick, effective solutions in last minute projects and continuously keep track of their long-term project goals
  • Be able to travel (30-45%, normally)
  • Business fluency in English. The German language skills is a big plus. Differentials would be skills in Italian and/or French
