Job Description

Despite our goal to achieve greatest possible reliability and quality, innovative products and complex processes can fail. The CAPA System is the process and method to identify and react on those problems, investigate the root causes and implement appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions.

As Quality Management Associate – CAPA Management you will be part of the team overseeing and managing CAPA Projects, with the goal to continuously improve the performance of our Quality System and the Brainlab Products.

Your responsibilities will be

  • Self-responsible management of CAPA Projects, including their documentation
  • Management of in-deep root cause investigations related to various Brainlab products and processes
  • Identification of necessary actions and coordination of their adequate implementation
  • Close collaboration with subject matter experts within the Quality Management department, and from other divisions such as R&D, Production and Operations
  • Report of status regarding CAPA Projects within the company, including different levels of Management
  • Presentation and justification of your CAPA Projects in external audits of Brainlab by the Notified Body

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering or life sciences preferred, but other degrees may be considered
  • Interest / Experience in quality management
  • Excellent documentation practice and communication skills in English language
  • A structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach
  • High level of thoroughness
  • Persuasive power and critical thinking abilities
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office
