Job Description
We are seeking a (Senior) Machine Learning Engineer with strong background in machine learning and software engineering to shape the future of our product portfolio.
In this position, you will
- work on learning-based solutions for a variety of tasks in medical image analysis (e.g. image segmentation, landmark detection, object detection, and more)
- push the limits of intelligent software components for medical procedure support, making use of the ever increasing amounts of medical data
- drive your creative ideas from initial prototypes to final product release
- learn together with your colleagues by working on challenging projects
- ultimately impact the daily work of medical professionals around the world
Qualifications
- Education in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a similar background
- Ideally, PhD or industry experience in a relevant area
- Demonstrated experience in using machine learning methods and computer vision algorithms to solve challenging problems
- Interest in details of machine learning methods and ability to adapt them
- Strong interest and skills in software engineering
- Strong knowledge of Python and at least basic knowledge of C++
- Eagerness to develop robust and scalable software as part of a diverse team
- Fluency in English
