Software Engineer Algorithms - Medical Image Analysis

We are looking for highly motivated software engineers to join the development team of our Data Intelligence division. Medical image data is the basis for the use of all of our software applications. This data is processed, enriched and modified by a variety of algorithms.

As one of the specialists in our algorithms team, you will

  • independently develop and implement sophisticated mathematical algorithms used in complex medical applications in the field of radiological image processing and medical image segmentation, in close collaboration with the machine learning engineers in our Data Intelligence Division
  • use object-oriented programming in C++ to implement your ideas into compact, modular and efficient algorithms
  • contribute to our software applications, which are used for the planning and execution of surgical procedures or radiotherapy treatments
  • bring your own ideas and actively participate in the future development of our software products
  • expand your knowledge in the field of anatomy


  • Completed postgraduate studies in Mathematics, (Medical) Computer Science, Physics or relevant professional experience, preferably in the field of medical image processing
  • Passion for mathematics and problem solving, on the look-out for an interesting and challenging position
  • Practical experience in software development ideally using C++ or many years of experience in programming sophisticated algorithms
  • Fluent English as well as the ability to communicate with colleagues from all around the world, who have different professional backgrounds
