American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons 2016 Annual Meeting

Orlando | March 2nd – March 4th| Orange County Convention Center, Hall W-A/B | Booth #2871

The 2016 American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting provides orthopedic practitioners access to a wide variety of educational and scientific programs as well as the latest technology the field has to offer.

This year Brainlab invites you to experience our newest tracking hardware created with orthopedic surgery in mind: ClearLens™ instruments. Disposable ClearLens™ tracking arrays remain visible to the navigation system—even when contaminated with fluid and tissue—to ensure undisturbed tracking performance. Snapping quickly into place, ClearLens™ instruments save valuable preparation time in the O.R. and facilitate accurate optical tracking in harsh surgical environments. Visit the drip tray at our booth to see ClearLens™ in action.*

For digital templating, we present TraumaCad 2.5. For over a decade, TraumaCad has set the standard in orthopedic digital templating and this latest release introduces Auto-Knee functionality for TKA, which automatically detects resection lines, positions templates, estimates size, and simulates leg alignment.

In addition, TraumaCad Mobile 2.0 now enables planning for Knee, Upper Limb and Foot & Ankle quickly and easily, using only a few simple gestures.

On the software side, Knee3 helps to provide better alignment and accurate results during software-guided knee surgery and Hip 6 assists in accurate component positioning and leg length and offset measurement.

For Spine, Brainlab Spinal Navigation supports a wide variety of imaging devices and offers seamless integration to correspond with the surgeons’ various workflows. For a demo of Airo®Mobile Intraoperative CT, we invite you to also visit us at our partner DePuy Synthes’ booth #2545.

Key hardware featured at the booth this year will be our latest version of Curve™ Image Guided Surgery, Kick®Purely Navigation with Optical Tracking and Buzz®Digital O.R.

While you’re at the booth, be sure to put on a pair of 3D glasses to see a new dimension in stereoscopic 3D image and treatment plan review with DICOM Viewer 3D Stereo.*

Visit us at booth #2871 to get a closer look at wide range of orthopedic hardware and software.
