Create opportunities. Better the world.

The non-profit organization Right.Brain provides state-of-the-art medical equipment as well as proper training to physicians and hospitals in developing nations.

About us Better help, to help better

Meaningful help needs a competent network. We work together with competent partners, doctors and organizations. In this way, we open up new opportunities for qualified hospitals in developing countries to sustainably improve medical care.

Right.Vision

The purpose of Right.Brain is simple, but powerful: Together we provide medical technology to create opportunities for a better world. The long-term plan is to collaborate with even more American and European hospitals as well as their surgeons to carry out joint projects. To this end, new project sites and partners are already being evaluated.

Right.Team

Using our global connections in the world of medical technology, we work together with international organizations such as the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS), well-known physicians from partner hospitals, and selected local physicians in developing nations.

Right.Goal

Right.Brain’s mission: Improving healthcare worldwide. The long-term plan is to collaborate with even more American and European hospitals as well as their surgeons to carry out joint projects. To this end, new project sites and partners are already being evaluated.

Right.Skills

Right.Brain provides qualifying hospitals and public institutions with medical technology and training. This promotes access to treatment and consistency of care. With efficient methods such as intensive training in O.R. procedure basics, access to resources from our sponsor, Brainlab AG and other multimedia digital teaching tools, Right.Brain offers sustainable help for physicians and medical professionals on site.

Right.Actions

Providing the right support helps create the right conditions for change. That’s why, when it comes to humanitarian aid, Right.Brain relies exclusively on high-quality technology, comprehensive training and a thoughtful, holistic approach.

Right.Impact

The World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) supports Right.Brain in finding suitable hospitals and public facilities in developing countries. They are carefully screened and selected on the basis of various criteria, such as per capita income, reliable energy supply, sufficiently trained medical professionals, distribution of wealth, political stability and security of the country.

Projects Help is only right if it brings lasting change

That is why all projects, cooperations and measures are carefully examined by Right.Brain before they are implemented. And all the more effectively.

Tanzania Advanced technology. Greater empowerment.

Right.Brain donated a new Kick® surgical navigation system to the Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute in Tanzania. The donation includes expert hands-on training, empowering the doctors on-site in the management of neurosurgical disorders and procedures.

Malawi Less invasive. More effective.

With the donation of a new Kick system, Right.Brain provided Malawi’s first neurosurgical navigation system. The head physician of the neurosurgery department in Blantyre anticipated that this would lead to significantly fewer invasive procedures.

Cambodia Flagship project. Big impact.

During our first project in October 2014, in cooperation with La Chaîne de l’Espoir, Right.Brain donated a new Kick surgical navigation system and training to the new neurosurgery department at Calmette Hospital in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, headed by Prof. Sopheakreaksmey Vou.
