Brainlab Run @ESTRO

This year’s European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) conference was held in Glasgow, Scotland, from May 3rd – 7th, 2024. As part of this event, Brainlab organized a run as well as a Brainlab Step Challenge.

With nearly 50 runners, the Brainlab Run started on Sunday morning, May 5th 2024, at 7 AM before the conference. Participants were divided into two groups, each accompanied by external running coaches. One group completed a 5 km route through Glasgow, while the other group ran 7.5 km. After the run, all participants were welcomed with a healthy breakfast aboard the Red Bus Bistro and were then brought back to their hotels.

Brainlab colleagues logged over 700,000 steps during the conference and run as part of the Brainlab Step Challenge. Through the challenge, Brainlab was able to make a donation to the Tanzania project in cooperation with the Right Brain Foundation.

The Right Brain Foundation is a Brainlab charity that provides medical technology and training to qualifying hospitals and public institutions in developing nations.
