When it comes to follow-up radiosurgery for benign skull base tumors, most neurosurgeons don’t have detailed knowledge about fractionation schemes, toxicity constraints, etc. Also radiosurgery plans typically take experienced physicists hours to generate, making pre-surgical evaluation impractical and intraoperative assessments impossible.
