What’s new at ESTRO 2019?

For the first time in Europe, Brainlab will be showing the next generation of ExacTrac – ExacTrac Dynamic*. This new forward-thinking universal concept provides a comprehensive solution for precision radiotherapy positioning and monitoring. ExacTrac Dynamic offers value on multiple fronts including expanded clinical workflows, broad technological advancements, enhanced user and patient experience, and technology consolidation.

Join us on Saturday, April 27th for a celebration at our booth #2800 and to explore ExacTrac Dynamic yourself!

Indication-Specific Radiotherapy Treatment Planning Software

Brainlab will be also presenting a broad range of the Elements portfolio, comprised of indication-specific software applications for cranial, spine and multiple brain metastases radiosurgery. All Elements are designed to streamline and expedite the radiotherapy treatment planning process and include efficient contouring and fusion tools to ensure fast and complete workflows for SRS treatments. Fully automated, they enable experts—as well as less experienced users—to achieve the same consistent plan quality.

While each Elements application has the common goal of quick planning, sparing organs at risk, and creating highly conformal doses, each is specifically targeted to the unique needs of its respective area.

Multiple Brain Mets SRS, indication-specific radiosurgery treatment planning software utilizes a dedicated algorithm to treat multiple lesions with a single isocenter. With a high degree of automation, users can create consistent plans while at the same time having the flexibility to adapt them to the specific needs of every patient. In combination with ExacTrac, treatment delivery times can be reduced drastically, even for multiple metastatic tumors in the brain.

Cranial SRS is optimized for the planning process based on specific cranial indications. Indications include but are not limited to arteriovenous malformation (AVM), pituitary adenoma, vestibular schwannoma, meningioma and large metastases. High plan quality can be achieved by leveraging a 4Pi optimization algorithm and clinically-generated controls that unite all the options and benefits demanded by Cranial SRS.

Spine SRS offers clinical efficiency for both treatment planning and delivery and addresses many of the current challenges in spine radiosurgery. The software provides improved clinical efficiency through highly automated workflows and is fully focused on important dose falloff along specific vertebrae for enhanced spinal cord sparing.

In combination with Elements, in-room based ExacTrac Positioning and Monitoring system allows for highly accurate position verification and monitoring of patient motion and internal anatomical shifts during treatment.

Come visit us as booth #2800 for hands-on demonstrations.
