Senior Project Manager - R&D Platforms


WHAT TO EXPECT

Our passionate platforms team develops the future Brainlab image guide surgery and digital O.R. hardware portfolio. These state-of-the-art medical devices offer our customers worldwide easy access to the Brainlab software capabilities of today and tomorrow.

As a Senior Project Manager within our team you will be responsible for managing R&D projects developing the next generation of our platform products. These medical devices rely on the complex interplay of various technologies and you will ensure their successful release by leveraging your comprehensive project management skills.  

More specifically you will:

  • lead development projects for new state-of-the-art Brainlab platforms in line with our development processes
  • manage and motivate an interdisciplinary R&D team   
  • support the definition of product requirements in close cooperation with product management
  • collaborate successfully with international development partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders such as quality management and general management
  • ensure that our medical devices fulfill all national and international statutory and normative requirements  

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • passion for innovative high-tech products and for technological advance       
  • demonstrated ability to lead, manage and motivate cross-functional project teams
  • more than 5 years of professional experience in project management, including at least 2 years in multi-project management, preferably in the high-tech or medical-tech industry
  • university degree preferably in electrical engineering, medical engineering, physics or computer science
  • profound understanding of concepts and trends in medical devices, computer hardware and software
  • strong technical skills and ability to interact both with engineering colleges on details as well as with general management on top-level goals
  • excellent communication skills in German and English
  • distinct analytical skills and attention to detail round up your profile
