Perfect integration with your IT environment

To unlock all the possibilities of your Brainlab solution, seamless integration into your hospital IT landscape is essential. Depending on the depth of integration, you’ll benefit from the advantages we provide in data management, data archiving, O.R. scheduling and advanced customization.

Data management

To ensure smooth workflows, large amounts of data must be efficiently managed, so the right information is in the right place at the right time. This includes preprocessing and prefetching of surgical data as well as an efficient data infrastructure consisting of a central data node and several servers, equipped with failover and redundancy plans.

Data archiving

Well archived data is the basis for an effortless flow of the entire patient treatment process. Good data archiving means structuring, sending and safely storing it into the PACS to have it ready whenever you need it. We can also link your hospital information system or electronic health record to the archived data.

O.R. scheduling

To make work processes as simple and clear as possible, only relevant data should be displayed in an operating room. To achieve this, we can either integrate existing modality worklists or create new O.R. specific worklists via HL7 integration. With customized HL7 scheduling, we can further tailor the data you’d like displayed in your O.R.

Advanced customization

Considering the highly individual needs of various clinical subspecialities, we offer different clinicians the option to customize their workflows. With automatic presets, predefined user-specific screen settings can be displayed and presented to each based on their clinical use case. Group-based worklists guarantee maximum data privacy through authorized access based on a rights-system.
