Optimized design forprecision and efficiency
Cirq® for functional neurosurgery is designed to support precise trajectory alignment using a compact, table-mounted robotic platform. Integrated into the Brainlab planning and navigation ecosystem, it is designed for stable, reproducible and efficient minimally invasive electrode implantation.

Zero footprint design
Table-mounted arm keeps the O.R. uncluttered, maximizing space for the surgical team.
Extended reach & flexibility
Long-reaching arm design supports comfortable positioning across a wide range of cranial trajectories.
Fast & simple setup
Easily mounted and quickly positioned, ready to assist in just a few steps.
How Cirq® enhancesepilepsy workflow
Planning and executing stereoelectroencelography procedures requires precise coordination between imaging, navigation and trajectory alignment. The Brainlab software ecosystem integrates seamlessly with Cirq® for SEEG, providing intuitive electrode planning, real-time feedback and guided alignment to support safe, accurate and reproducible depth electrode placement.

High clearance between robot and skull
After implantation, sEEG anchor bolts are quite fragile and may protrude from the patient’s skull. As a result, any collision with the anchor bolts must be avoided.
During manual pre-alignment, the Alignment Software Cranial accounts for the height of the anchor bolts. This results in a high clearance between the skull, implanted sEEG anchor bolts and the Cirq® Robotic Alignment Module.
Adaptable anchor bolt and trajectory guidance
Surgical plans including anchor bolt placements and trajectories may need to change due to unforeseen circumstances in the O.R.
When necessary, the entry point of the anchor bolt or trajectory can be easily modified with the Navigation Pointer Cranial. The updated trajectory can then be reviewed and integrated into a seamless intraoperative workflow.
Workflow compatibility across registration methods
When it comes to highly accurate registration workflows, Alignment Software Cranial is agnostic and can effortlessly integrate into other workflows such as Automatic Image Registration and landmark registration.
LITT application is only available in the United States.
