To support our Brainlab Global Product Support team, we are seeking a Product Support Specialist Platforms.
Within this role, you are responsible for providing effective knowledge transfer from R&D into the support organization while coordinating product design input and helping to improve the clinical outcome for our customers. You play a vital role in the development and support for Brainlab platforms. As the interface between Support, R&D and Product Management you play a key role in ensuring successful product releases. The role represents the support interface with R&D and is responsible for 3rd level support of Brainlab Platforms globally.
Product Support Specialists are responsible for several aspects of a product line:
- product design improvement with R&D
- knowledge transfer to the support division regarding new products
- training and certification of 2nd Level Support
- ensuring quality support documentation during product releases
Brainlab’s industry leading Software is housed on our innovative Platforms. The systems vary from handheld devices, dedicated workstations, mobile navigation stations to industry standard multi-processor planning stations. Focusing on the interaction between the Platform hardware functionality and the clinical Software of our medical devices allows the PSS to directly affect standard of care for patient treatment.
