The introduction of Quentry replaces the previously time-consuming task, where cardiac patient data was burned on a CD and sent to the hospital by taxi. This resulted in delayed operation dates, repeat exams, and in emergencies, interventions had to be carried out without previously seeing the medical images relevant for planning. The result was a potential risk for patients, unnecessary costs and more work for the hospital.
The new online solution from Brainlab integrates seamlessly into the routine clinical workflow, enables greater cost efficiency and provides the hospitals with an efficient technological basis to offer their medical expertise as a service for other doctors and hospitals.
