
Support Specialist - Imaging Systems

Job Description
Join our technical support team as a Brainlab Support Specialist. You'll provide expert service, manage installations and maintenance, and support clinical staff—remotely from your home office.

Main responsibilities will include:
- Independently perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of Brainlab systems (e.g. Loop X, Airo) at hospitals and clinical sites
- Provide remote and on-site technical support, guiding clinical users through troubleshooting and system operation
- Ensure optimal device functionality by conducting diagnostics, upgrades, and proactive service checks
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for our customers, fostering strong relationships and long-term satisfaction
- Support product launches by coordinating setup, testing, and user onboarding
- Document all service activities accurately and in compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate closely with other teams (sales, engineering, clinical support) to ensure a seamless customer experience
Qualifications
- Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or similar
- Ideally first experience in technical support, preferably in the healthcare sector
- Familiar with X-ray systems and/or scanner technology (a plus)
- Strong IT, networking, and troubleshooting skills
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Excellent communication skills in English and French
- High willingness to travel national (up to 80%), with the possibility of occasional international assignments
- Confident use of MS Office; Salesforce knowledge is an advantage
- Valid driver’s license
