A shortening by both contracting parties can either be determined at the time of conclusion of the contract or applied retrospectively.

What is the difference between apprenticing as an IT specialist for application development and system integration?

Although the Apprentices decide on one of their focal points at the beginning of their training, they have common basic subjects in vocational school in the first few years of training. While the training to become an IT specialist for application development mainly deals with concepts and the development of software, IT specialists for system integration are responsible for installing and linking communication systems, for example telephone systems, servers, PCs, etc.
