Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced IT Systems Engineer with a specialized focus on Windows software distribution. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, implementing, and managing efficient software deployment strategies across our Windows-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new patch management strategies for Windows servers to ensure system security and compliance
- Package and customize software applications for seamless deployment using leading industry configuration management tools
- Utilize Windows scripting languages to automate software deployment processes and streamline repetitive tasks
- Design and deploy scalable and robust Windows-based solutions to meet the organization's business needs
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate software deployment processes with overall IT workflows.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related experience
- Proven experience as a IT Systems Engineer with a specialization in Windows operation systems
- Knowledge of software deployment tools, such as SCCM, WSUS, Intune or similar technologies is a plus
- Strong scripting skills, particularly in PowerShell
- Experience with application packaging and customization for Windows environments
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Advanced German and English skills
