Job Description

Based in our Munich headquarters, the Controlling team develops and supports the management process of goal definition, planning and control. The result is a joint responsibility to achieve these targets. With expert process knowledge, data analysis and intelligent reporting, the Controlling team ensures economically well-grounded and transparent decisions. As partner of our divisions, we provide business recommendations on our own initiative and contradict if our economic or functional standards are not met. To support us in our mission, we are seeking an active and energetic individual to join our team as a Junior Controller. You will be responsible for tasks and projects driven by general management as well as individual departments in our organization.

Your main duties will include:

  • Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems
  • Act as an interface to other Brainlab departments in assigned areas of analysis
  • Creation & delivery of reporting packages and analyses to support closing tasks and business decisions
  • Front-End report creation and analyses of ad-hoc requirements addressed by corporate controlling or other departments
  • Ensure controlling-related and QM-relevant procedures and instructions are documented, controlled, implemented and followed
  • Support the corporate strategy & planning processes
  • Contribute to controlling-specific projects to develop new or improve existing processes and infrastructure
  • Work with SAP ERP CO, SAP BW, Excel, Unit4 FP&A, reporting and dashboarding tools

Qualifications

  • Education in business administration or controlling
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving focus
  • Ability to tie together administrative and technical requirements
  • Affinity for working with large datasets and databases is helpful
  • Enjoying working independently while being a team player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines and on several tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Business fluency in German and English
