Job Description

Efficient and seamlessly integrated processes are crucial for the global Brainlab organization. Our SAP team supports the various departments in optimizing their processes. As a Business Application Engineer SAP Finance, you play a vital role in continuous improvement by analyzing stakeholder requirements, developing sustainable solutions and implementing them into our SAP system. Your job is to support internal finance process optimizations which ensure that hospitals can maximize the value of our products for the benefit of their patients. In this role you are responsible for several aspects of business applications:

  • Consult on improvement of finance applications
  • Consolidate and evaluate process improvement feedback from all peers
  • Specify the technical design of processes, interfaces and external development
  • Implement the solution in business applications
  • Test and document the implemented solutions
  • Train users on new processes
  • Define a suitable roles & authorization concept for your area
  • 2nd & 3rd Level Application support in area of responsibility
  • Participate in international cross-functional project teams
  • Support several non-SAP applications and add-ons

Qualifications

  • University degree preferably in business administration or computer science or related experience
  • Very good SAP knowledge in the area of finance and controlling (FI/CO) including customizing
  • Experience in other SAP modules and S/4HANA is a plus
  • Practical experience in SAP implementations is a plus
  • Good knowledge of MS office applications is required
  • Excellent, pro-active communication habits
  • Detail oriented, self-starter who can progress independently
  • Profound English skills, excellent documentation habits
  • Mindset of process sustainability
