STREAMLINING DEEP BRAIN STIMULATION EFFORTS

Brainlab AG announced a strategic collaboration with Boston Scientific Corporation, a leading innovator of medical solutions that improve the health of patients around the world. Boston Scientific will begin distributing the Brainlab DBS surgical planning portfolio with the Boston Scientific Vercise™ DBS System in selected countries, offering physicians advanced device technology with sophisticated software capabilities. The collaboration provides patients and physicians a comprehensive portfolio for Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) therapy. DBS therapy is intended to treat a variety of disorders, including Parkinson’s disease. By streamlining DBS treatments, Brainlab and Boston Scientific anticipate our joint solutions will serve as a future platform to further increase the access to and consistency of care.
