This innovative system offers an advanced solution for integrating probabilistic constrained spherical deconvolution (CSD)-based tractography into clinical practice. The software also enhances the precision of cranial resection surgeries and functional neurosurgery by enabling the identification of complex brain fiber pathways, such as crossing and fanning fibers, as well as fibers present in edema.

Key features of this cutting-edge technology include the ability to switch seamlessly between deterministic and probabilistic tractography, providing practitioners with critical insights tailored to each specific case. Additionally, a range of tracking templates are available, allowing for the efficient, standardized and reproducible mapping of important white matter tracts. Moreover, Elements Fibertracking streamlines patient-specific planning by integrating combined MRI and DWI data, facilitating a seamless pre-planning workflow for both cranial resection and functional stereotactic neurosurgery cases.

This CE clearance marks a significant advancement in neurosurgical planning, offering clinicians the tools needed to navigate the complexities of the brain with greater confidence and accuracy.
