The Brainlab Academy: Functional Neurosurgery is tailored for neurosurgery and neurology teams specializing in treatment solutions for movement disorders as well as drug-resistant epilepsy patients. Clinicians involved in functional neurosurgery who seek deeper insights into surgical planning and post-operative patient management are welcome to review detailed agenda and attend.

Objectives

The Brainlab Academy: Functional Neurosurgery aims to provide advanced education on the Brainlab Elements portfolio within high accuracy demanding functional neurosurgery use cases. Upon completion of the course, clinicians will gain proficiency in utilizing Brainlab solutions for stereotactic surgical planning and post-surgery patient management.

  • Hands-on surgical planning sessions for different indications, facilitated by certified Brainlab instructors 

  • Lectures by experienced clinical guest speakers 

  • Sessions with Brainlab product experts in support of workflow optimization and product utilization.

  • Included: Course tuition, certificate of attendance, course materials and supplies, travel (depending on ticket type), accommodation for the duration of the course, participation in a social evening and meals outlined in the course agenda

Our courses are subject to fees and only accessible with a valid ticket. When you register on our website, we will check whether your institution has purchased a ticket that entitles you to participate.

Brainlab offers personal shuttle services directly to our headquarters. It is also possible to take public transportation which takes around 50-60 minutes.

Will lunch be served?

Yes, lunch will be available at our award-winning Brainlab restaurant. The restaurant incorporates market-fresh produce delivered daily to create delicious dishes prepared onsite. This will be available to all participants of the classroom training. Participants will also only be offered dinner during the group dinner event, so they should make individual dinner plans for other evenings accordingly.

Can I bring a partner or family?

Due to compliance reasons, Brainlab can not cover any travel or accommodation costs for additional external guests. However, it is possible to bring a partner/family member and cover these costs privately. In this case, we would support by contacting the hotel to inquire about an upgrade to a double room. Travel arrangements must be organized independently.
