This course is a two-day classroom training designed for clinicians pursuing full proficiency with the Brainlab robotic suite product portfolio for navigated spine surgeries. The sessions are hosted at the state-of-the-art training centers in the Brainlab headquarters in Munich, Germany.

Target audience

The Brainlab Academy: Spine Surgery is tailored to a team of 2 attendees from each hospital. The offering is targeted primarily at end users (surgeons) but is also relevant for members of the nursing or medical technology staff. Ideally, both participants would attend the course together.

Prerequisites

Installation and acceptance training should be completed in the participants’ hospitals in advance. In addition, it is highly recommended to complete a curated selection of digital courses available in the Brainlab Online Campus before attendance.

Objectives

The course covers Loop-X, Cirq®, and Curve Navigation and related software to enable optimal clinical use of the Brainlab product portfolio in navigated spine surgeries, with the goal of performing a fully navigated spinal screw placement workflow from planning to registration to navigation using the Brainlab products.

How can I participate in a course?

Our courses are subject to fees and only accessible with a valid ticket. When you register on our website, we will check whether your institution has purchased a ticket that entitles you to participate.

How can I get to Brainlab HQ from the airport?

Brainlab offers personal shuttle services directly to our headquarters. It is also possible to take public transportation which takes around 50-60 minutes.

What is the official language of the course?

English is the official language for all Brainlab Academy courses.

Will I get a certificate of attendance after course completion?

Yes, you will receive a certificate following the completion of the course.

Will lunch be served?

Yes, lunch will be available at our award-winning Brainlab restaurant. The restaurant incorporates market-fresh produce delivered daily to create delicious dishes prepared onsite. This will be available to all participants of the classroom training. Participants will also only be offered dinner during the group dinner event, so they should make individual dinner plans for other evenings accordingly.

Can I bring a partner or family?

Due to compliance reasons, Brainlab can not cover any travel or accommodation costs for additional external guests. However, it is possible to bring a partner/family member and cover these costs privately. In this case, we would support by contacting the hotel to inquire about an upgrade to a double room. Travel arrangements must be organized independently.
