Job Description

To assist with software localization testing, we are looking for a highly-motivated working student. Do you find it exciting to test new high-tech software in other languages and to report your findings? Do you believe that documenting test results is crucial to the process of developing new software?

Then join us as part of our Software Localization Testing team in our Munich headquarters, where you will support us in improving the quality of Brainlab medical software. You will be in contact with different teams, gain an overview of the development process and learn how we are making an impact in the world-wide medical technology market.

You will support us with the following tasks:

  • Testing new software in foreign languages
  • Documenting test results
  • Reporting issues
  • Providing feedback on test cases

This position is based in Munich and is required to be in the office at least two days per week.

Qualifications

  • Studying software localization, translation studies, languages, linguistics, technical writing or related subject
  • Interest in IT and medical technology
  • Familiar with computer applications
  • Conscientious, organized and able to work independently
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Additional languages, e.g. German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian or Simplified Chinese would be an advantage
  • Interest in quality assurance and software testing
  • Availability for at least one year (16-20 hours per week)
