Generation – D Finale 2023

On October 14, 2023, the winners of this year’s Generation-D competition were announced.

Generation-D is an annual social entrepreneurship competition in which start-ups present their entrepreneurial ideas and receive guidance on the foundation of their companies from experts in the fields of business and politics.

Brainlab is committed to promoting talent and social entrepreneurship, offering young entrepreneurs a platform and advancing innovations. This is why the medical technology company hosted the final event for the second year in a row. In the summer of 2023, the leader pitch took place at the company’s headquarters, and now, after the consultation phase, the winning teams were selected and announced.

This year, first place went to HopfOn (HopfON – START), a start-up working on the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly building materials from hop waste.

Brainlab CEO and founder Stefan Vilsmeier was part of the jury:
“When I founded Brainlab at the age of 23, I was driven primarily by the desire to make a difference and advance healthcare through technology. That’s why I’m especially pleased to be able to support the new generation of entrepreneurs today.”
